I wish it can do as good as the Network feature of Atlas TI. ATLAS.ti, discourse analysis, unmotivated reading, memos, analytic focus, document families, team collaboration, blog posts, hyperlinking. But, alas, the maps in Maxqda are just unsatisfactory. interviews, observational notes or memos are typed into word processing documents. It is natural to believe that you need to be clear in. SPSS is a widely used program to assist quantitative research while ATLAS.ti supports qualitative research. I draw on my own Atlas.ti experiences (Smit, 2001), and discuss. Using memos in the early stages of a project - ATLAS.ti 9 Windows. Memos can be sorted by type (method, theoretical, descriptive, etc. It is mostly used to assist the analysis of qualitative research data, for example an analysis of interviews or literature. A memo in ATLAS.ti may stand alone, or it may be linked to quotations, codes, and other memos. I want to lay down all my memos, highlighted texts alogside the codes (nodes) and compare the concepts contained in each element and construct new ideas on them. ATLAS.ti is a computer program that can be very useful for students and staff conducting research. But, I am very frustrated by the maps (MaxMaps). I love this software for everything else it does. Well crafted concept maps can be used to lay out theoretical and conceptual twists, to design a new argument by comparing and contrasting the already existing arguments. It would be interesting if they can be presented in concept map forms. I don't know why different previews are presented in table forms in Maxqda.
